Celebrating 40 years of Quality Services for your pet!
Sun City Animal Hospital is a dog and cat pet veterinary hospital providing kennel boarding and grooming services. We have our own separate cat clinic to help keep our feline patients calm. When it is the sad time to put your pet to sleep, we have a very humane approach to euthanasia. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your dog or cat. Our veterinary doctor services and vet facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete veterinary medical and pet surgical care as necessary during their lifetime in our fair city.
Sun City is prepared to take care of your small animal pets in several additional ways. We provide dog and cat baths and grooming as well as pet behavioral counseling. You should also remember annual pet vaccinations and tick and flea control. Of course we provide spaying and neutering, procedures which should be considered for those dogs and cats that are not going to enter a breeding program. We also recommend pet microchip identification for all pets in order to provide you with an avenue for finding your loved ones should they become lost.
At Sun City we offer complete health care services to ensure your pets stay happy and healthy, including our Puppy and Kitten Plans, Companion Health Plans, physical examinations, individual vaccine assessments, both whole body and dental x-ray capabilities, dental treatment, in house laboratory and full diagnostic procedures. Medical issues that are important in our location are Valley fever, tick fever, and girardia parasites. Rattlesnakes are common, and coyote attacks on dogs and cats are all too frequent. We are prepared for these problems.
Sun City Animal Hospital is an accredited member of The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Since 1974, we have regularly undergone inspection by AAHA to ensure that we comply with the association's high quality standards of care. These standards cover nearly every aspect of our veterinary hospital, including pet surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, patient care, cleanliness, client services, diagnostic imaging and anesthesiology. Approximately 17 percent of animal hospitals in North America are accredited by AAHA. We are proud of our membership.
